Dettol Touch of Foam Review!

I was lucky enough to receive the new Dettol Touch of Foam Hand Wash from Product Talk by Nuffnang to review.  I was so excited to receive this in the mail.  This is my first ever review of something too so extra excited about it, plus I love anything that's new!

My family and I have been using this hand wash every single day and it is such a pleasure to use, it even encourages my three year old to wash his hands (and he hates washing his hands!), he loves the way it comes out in a foam of bubbles.  I received the Rose and Cherry in Bloom fragrance and the smell is really yummy.  I'm not a big fan of medical smelling hand washes although it kills 99.9% of germs, I found the smell of the product really appealing.
The hand wash washes away all the dirt very easily and leaves your hands smelling lovely and feeling soft, overall I'm extremely happy with this product and will be purchasing the refill after this bottle runs out.

The new Dettol Touch of Foam Hand Wash comes in three unique fragrances. Jasmine & Almond Dream, Rose & Cherry in Bloom and Wild Berry Bliss.  All variants are available in a convenient 250ml pump and a value 500ml refill.

I did not receive any payments for this review.  I did receive the full sized product from Nuffnang to keep.

Veggie Patch and Garden

Since the weather has (slowly) become warmer down here in Tassie we've been getting stuck into the garden.  We've spent the last few weekends weeding everywhere and planting new veggies in our veggie patch.  The grass has also gotten very brown and crunchy very quickly actually in the last couple of days it has gotten really bad.  It's a dry and hot day here today so the veggie garden will need an extra big soaking this afternoon.

Raspberries

Cape Gooseberry

Broccoli and Cabbage Mix

Radishes and Parsley

Tomatoes

Potatoes

Strawberries

Elderflower
I love having a veggie patch, I still want to add a few more things, this summer I'm really looking forward to making some elderflower and raspberry cordial and not to mention chocolate covered raspberries yummm!! It's also great for kids, Master E loves to help plant, look after, and harvest the veg and fruit, he even has his own little gardening set and watering can.

Do you keep a veggie patch? What are your fave veggies or fruit to grow?

We Saw...Jimmy Giggle!!!

One weekend ago, Hobart held it's annual Christmas Pageant and we decided to go along and check it out.  It was the first time that we've been to this Christmas parade and I have to say it was pretty exciting!  Master E loved it and Miss M slept the whole time..  We even got to see Jimmy Giggle!!!  There was time after to get a photo with Jimmy Giggle but we were not waiting in the very very long queue, sorry Master E!

Here are some snap shots of the day :)

What fun Christmas outings or activities does your family attend over the festive season?

Today I'm finally (after being a bit slack) linking up with Jess and her new blog with IBOT :), btw congratulations Jess on your awesome new blog 'Essentially Jess'.

20 Day Organise & Clean Challenge

When I started the main tasks of this challenge I was just a few days off giving birth, so I only managed to do the first few days of the challenge and since actually giving birth and coming home and settling back into everyday life, I have fallen behind.
So by the time we are all on track again the house is back to it's pre-challenge state, so I've decided to start over from the beginning!

I'm happily up to date with the pre-challenge tasks, and here they are:

Pre-Challenge Task 1: Putting a folder together

Pre-Challenge Task 2: Creating a cleaning kit

Pre-Challenge Task 3: Create a morning routine

6am - Up! Baby's morning routine
6:30 - Shower and get myself ready for the day
7am - Pickle boy up and he starts his morning routine
- Make lunches
- Get breakfast ready
7:30am - Check emails, diary, to-do list, calendar etc.
8am - DF's morning routine
-Breakfast
8:30am - Tidy breakfast mess, put yesterdays dishes away, wipe bench, sink and table
- DF leaves for work (Goodbye Dad!)
- Put washing on
- Tidy bathroom and wipe vanity
- Make beds
10am - Our day begins with Pickle boys learning routine, an activity, housework, or a walk (shops, library, park, appointments, playgroup etc.)

(It doesn't always run this smoothly, but I like to try and get everything done in this time frame so that I can get on with the rest of the day without thinking about all this stuff!)

Pre-Challenge Task 4: Create a evening routine

5pm - Pickle boy starts his evening routine
- Jellybeans bath time routine
- Quick tidy
5:30pm - Start Dinner
- Dad's Home!
6pm - Dinner
6:30pm - Tidy dinner mess, wipe bench, sink and table
7pm - Check emails, blog posts, tidy office
- TV, crafts, or read
- Clothes ready for next day (this helps when I get up earlier than my DF or Jellybean because I can just grab my pile of clothes without making a noise with the drawers etc.)
8-8:30pm - Pickle boys bedtime
- Jellybeans evening routine and bedtime
10-11pm - Bed!

Pre-Challenge Task 5: Goals

I want to feel ORGANISED while I'm at home
I want to spend more time CREATING ART & FUN WITH MY KIDS
I want an area of the home where I can RELAX
I want to organise MY WHOLE HOUSE
I always lose PAPER
Something I don't need anymore, but having trouble parting with: PICKLE BOYS BABY CLOTHES & OLD ART SUPPLIES

If like me you need your house to be organised and cleaned then it's not too late to start the challenge you can find out all about it over at The Organised Housewife blog :)

Someone New!

As you may or may not have noticed, I have been absent from my blog space for a little while.  Well I have been somewhat busy...

I'd like to introduce you to someone new in our family, our beautiful baby girl 'Molly Aila'.  After waiting and waiting she finally arrived.  Twelve days overdue she was born on the 8th of September at 2:38am, weighing 3800g, which is approximately 8lb6oz (same weight as Pickle boy), and measuring 50cm long.

Only one day old...
I will also be sharing her birth story with you on a later date, so stay tuned ;)

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Blog Planner Freebies!!!

I'm really getting into my blogging I'm thinking about what I can post more and more and when I have an idea I usually just write it on a scrap piece of paper, then end up losing it and forgetting the blog post idea.  So in order to organise my blog ideas, posts, and all that other bloggy stuff. I went on the search for some blog planners, and found an awesome freebies website that had all sorts of free stuff including blog planners.  The website is Fab N' Free and they are always updating their freebies :)
Here are some of my faves but there are more here.
